Sens lineup vs. Flyers finalized
The Sens make their second trip of the season to Philadelphia tonight and will look to knock off the Flyers for the first time this season in what will be a crucial game.
Ottawa now sits in a tie with the Rangers and Islanders at the bottom of the playoff standings with 44 points apiece, though the Sens have done it in one less game and sit in sixth after the tiebreaker. They have played two consecutive games now where they've clearly out-chanced the opponent. If they maintain that level of play, you'd have to think something will give soon.
Two lineup changes tonight as Jean-Gabriel Pageau steps into a spot on the third line while Robin Lehner gets the start for the first leg of the back-to-back, saving Craig Anderson for Friday in New Jersey.
Here's how the Sens will look to start...
Latendresse - Turris - Alfredsson
Conacher - Zibanejad - Silfverberg
Greening - Pageau - Condra
Kassian - Smith - Neil
Gryba - Methot
Benoit - Phillips
Wiercioch - Gonchar
They Flyers come into this game in the midst of a losing streak of their own having dropped two straight by a combined 8-2 score. In four games this month, they have allowed 14 goals against while scoring 12. Expect a high pace, end-to-end game between these teams. Whoever does a better job of limiting second chance opportunities should win.
Here's how the Flyers should line up tonight...
Hartnell - Giroux - Voracek
Read - Schenn - Simmonds
Gagne - Fedotenko - Knuble
Hall - Couturier - Rosehill
Timonen - Gervais
Lauridsen - Schenn
Gustafsson - Huskins
The Sens are 2-2-1 against the Flyers under Paul MacLean and 13-21-2-1 all-time in Philadelphia.
