Anderson to start against Carolina
With the postponement of last night's game in Boston, Craig Anderson will have the opportunity to start at home on Tuesday when the Sens take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Anderson has been solid in his career against the Hurricanes but, somehow, is searching for his first win of the season against Carolina. He has gone 0-1-1 in two games despite posting a 1.99 GAA and .934 save percentage. In his career Anderson is 4-2-4 all-time against the Hurricanes with a 2.64 GAA and .925 save percentage.
As I mentioned yesterday, Anderson has been looking better and better since returning from his ankle injury. He looked good in his first two games against Florida and Tampa Bay and turned around to absolutely steal a win for the Sens in New Jersey. He still leads the league in both GAA and save percentage despite going 1-2 in that span.
In their last game against Carolina, Anderson made 23 stops but the Sens ultimately fell in overtime.
