A playoff spot is within grasp with a little luck and, if the next game is always the biggest game, tonight is the biggest game of the year for the Senators as they get ready to host the Penguins. Now that we're inside two hours to puck drop it's time to get you caught up to speed. These are your Gameday Preview Bits.

Let's begin.

Up top we have today's Gameday Goodie with Jared Cowen. You may have not known but Jared became the first Senator in history last year to record four points and go plus-4 in a single game. It happened against... you guessed it... the Penguins.

Next up is Gord Wilson's Game Preview. Hard to re-iterate the significance of this game with a potential clinch hanging in the balance. Tonight could be a big night for this team.

Daniel Alfredsson spoke to the media ahead of tonight's game and stressed the need to simply pick up points above all else.

Paul MacLean had his usual media availability ahead of tonight's game. He answered a lot of questions about the team and its growth this season.
