Coach MacLean post-game - 11.12.2013

It was a tough night at Canadian Tire Centre for the Sens as they just couldn't get anything going against the Philadelphia Flyers and ultimately fell by a 5-0 score. Paul MacLean offered his thoughts after the game.

Here's what he had to say...

On how he characterizes tonight's game:

20 giveaways, five goals against, two on the power play.

On if this is a setback:

I think it certainly would be, but it's only one. We have an opportunity to come back on Friday and come here tomorrow and try to get ourselves sorted out again and, again, work on getting the puck moving.

On if disappointment in the performance:

Absolutely, I think everyone is disappointed in the whole city. Tonight, we had been playing well, and we got exposed by a team that was a little more desperate than we were.

On the removal of his glasses:

I think I broke them. You can't see if they're broken…they got snapped by a stick or something and they broke. Maybe a not a stick but a wall or whatever. They got broken.

On Craig Anderson's disappointment on the night:

I think there's only 20 guys in Philadelphia that are happy with their game tonight so, I mean, I don't think there's anyone on our team that should be happy with their game. Craig is no different than the rest of us. I don't think any of us are happy with how we played. 20 guys went out there and 20 guys didn't get the job done.
