12:00 PM: Here's what Paul MacLean had to say ahead of today's game...

On today's lineup:

We don't anticipate any changes to the lineup at this point in time.

On Phillips getting a green light after a blocked shot in practice:

It appears that way. At this point it looks like our lineup will stay the same.

On Marc Methot:

He's here today and he's working out but we're going to see how he is, he hasn't skated for a couple of days and he has been dehydrated because of it. We're going to really make sure before we do anything with him as far as getting him back in. It appears like he's on the road to recovery.

On the Kings:

They're a very difficult team to play against. They do things — they play the game very simple but they play it physically. Their goaltenders have been very good, they're a good defensive team, they don't give up a lot and they really make you work for your opportunities much like the Boston Bruins. They wait you out and wait you out and wait for you to force something and then they take advantage of it.

11:00 AM: Today's Gameday Goodie talks with Jason Spezza about pre-game rituals and the "inner circle" ritual with himself, Erik Karlsson and Chris Phillips.

10:00 AM: It's gameday here in brisk Ottawa and the Sens are getting ready for a Saturday afternoon tilt with the Los Angeles Kings.

The Sens are on a four game point streak and have earned points in five of their seven games in the month of December with the most recent coming on Thursday night in a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Bobby Ryan and Zack Smith provided the goals for the Sens on the night while Craig Anderson led the charge with 40 saves.

The Kings are 21-7-4 in 32 games this season, which is good for 46 points and a tie with the San Jose Sharks for second in the Pacific Division. They are 11-3-2 away from home this season and have allowed a league low 63 goals. In their first meeting this season, the Kings defeated the Sens by a 4-3 score in the shootout.

Paul MacLean will address the media at 10:15 AM and I'll have plenty of updates to follow including, but not limited to, lineup changes, players' thoughts on tonight's game, Sens TV updates, Instagram goodness and more.

Stay tuned!
