1:15 PM: Sens head coach Paul MacLean offered his lineup updates after today's morning skate and gave his thoughts on the game ahead with the Predators. Here's what he had to say...

On the lineup:

We're going to put Pageau back in and take Matt Kassian out. Joe Corvo will play on the blueline for Eric Gryba. Our schedule doesn't allow us a ton of games so we want to make sure we keep everybody ready to go.

On the absence of the physical presence of Neil and Kassian:

I think with the Nashville team, that's not something they're known for, they're more of a hard-working up and down team game type of group. We feel the penalty killing with Pageau will give us a little bit more team speed and we'll be able to — we want to see tonight if we can set the pace or tempo of the game by skating.

On the early message in the game:

I think this is a game we want to skate, this is a team that they can play very good in the neutral zone and their team game is very good, their structure is very good and if you don't skate and get going with it they can frustrate you and stymie you so skating and playing with speed and tempo is a big part of the game tonight and a big reason why our lineup is the way it is.

11:30 AM: The Sens have hit the ice in Nashville.

11:00 AM: It's game day in Nashville and the Sens will be looking to make a return to the win column tonight when they take on the Predators at Bridgestone Arena.

The Senators are coming off of a tough overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Despite controlling the game for the majority of three periods, the Sens couldn't get the bounces they needed late and ultimately fell 4-3 after a late push from the Avs. Clarke MacArthur, Jason Spezza and Kyle Turris were the goal scorers while Craig Anderson made 26 stops in the loss.

The Predators have struggled this season, posting a 19-22-6 record in 45 games for 44 points and sixth in the Central Division. With that said, they have been good at home, posting an 11-9-3 record in 23 contests. In their last game they dropped a 4-3 decision to the Anaheim Ducks at home.

The Sens will hit the ice for their morning skate at 10:30 today (11:30 ET) and I'll have plenty of updates to follow including, but not limited to, lineup changes, players' thoughts on tonight's game, Sens TV updates, Instagram goodness and more.

Stay tuned!
