10:30 AM: The Ottawa Senators wrap up their Alberta doubleheader tonight when they take on the Calgary Flames.
The Sens fell in a close on in Edmonton last night by a 3-2 score. Goals from Jason Spezza and Erik Karlsson had the Sens on the board but a handful of other chances that came inches away from making the difference didn't fully beat Ben Scrivens in goal for the Oilers. Craig Anderson made 27 stops in the loss.
The Flames have had their share of struggles this season, posting a 23-31-7 record in 61 games. Their 53 points leave them sixth in the Pacific Division. In 30 home games, they have put together a record of 12-15-3.
This is the first meeting between the two teams this season.
The Sens will have an optional morning skate at 11:30 AM in Calgary (1:30 ET) and I'll have plenty of updates to follow including, but not limited to, lineup changes, players' thoughts on tonight's game, Sens TV updates, Instagram goodness and more.
