Any time you get to play right away it gives you a chance to respond right away to things that have happened in the past. Tonight's a good opportunity for us to get out and get playing. We're playing a very disciplined and fast team and we've got to make sure we're ready.

On getting the team in the right mindset:

Well we've got to get prepared for the next game. A lot of times that, like I mentioned earlier, is good. You get to get right back at it again and get prepared for a different opponent and you can use the circumstances from last night as a motivator to make a difference in the game today.

12:00 PM: The latest Bell Sens in 60 features the long distance shooting competition with Cody Ceci and Erik Condra from Wednesday's Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek.

10:00 AM: The Ottawa Senators complete the second leg of a back-to-back today when they host the Colorado Avalanche at Canadian Tire Centre.

The Sens fell by a 5-4 score in overtime last night at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens. The Sens got goals from Jason Spezza, Zack Smith, Ales Hemsky and Clarke MacArthur but couldn't hold off a late charge by the Canadiens in the third and OT. Robin Lehner made 43 saves in the loss.

The Avalanche have been one of the surprise teams in the NHL this season, putting together a record of 43-19-5 in 67 games for 91 points. In 31 games away from the Pepsi Center this season they have a record of 20-9-2 and are 7-3-0 in their last 10.

Colorado took the lone match between the two clubs this season with a 4-3 OT win.
