Craig Anderson post-practice \u2014 04.07.2014

Sens goaltender Craig Anderson will get the start in goal on Tuesday when the team takes on the New York Islanders. It'll be Anderson's first start since last Friday's 7-4 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

Here's what he had to say about getting the start...

On getting back in goal:

In this business when you leave the rink that night everything gets washed down the drain. The sun came up the next day, we came out and played an excellent game against the Rangers and everyone had a really good game that night, we were able to get two points and the game in the past is in the past. We've got to look forward.

On if the tough losses are harder to put in the past:

Sometimes they're a bit easier because you know it was such a bad game that you just flush it right away, you don't even think two seconds about it. You just get it out of the system, get it out of the way and move forward.

On focusing solely on wins:

Winning is fun, it's more enjoyable being around the guys when you're winning, it's fun to be at the rink, it's fun to go on the ice and you just enjoy yourself more when you set a goal of winning the game and you acheive that goal. It's no different than any other part in life, when you don't acheive the goal you're looking for you tend to be down a little bit. We're setting the small goal of winning each and every night and worrying about it one at a time and when you acheive that goal you have something to be happy about.

On potential elimination on Tuesday:

I think when we dropped the two in a row things seemed to go out the window and we're just going forward, playing hard, enjoying ourselves and making sure we show up to the rink, give it our best, give everything we have out there and play for each other.
