Sens Prospect Update - 05.12.2014

Let's take a brief moment to pan around the world of hockey and see how Senators prospects are faring in their respective playoff quests.

Ben Harpur - Harpur's Guelph Storm are off to the Memorial Cup after defeating the North Bay Battalion in a five game series to capture the Robertson Cup as OHL Champions. In 20 OHL playoff games Harpur recorded a goal and five points as well as a plus-22 rating — the second highest on the team. The Storm will take on the Edmonton Oil Kings in game one of their Memorial Cup campaign.

Curtis Lazar - Lazar is off to join Harpur in the Memorial Cup after scoring a goal and recording a plus-2 rating in Edmonton's 4-2 win over Portland last night to capture the WHL title. With last night's performance, Lazar wraps up his league playoffs with 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points and a plus-12 rating in 21 games. The Oil Kings will take on the OHL Champion Guelph Storm in their first Memorial Cup game.
