Sens Development Camp: Day 3

7:45 PM: Sens TV goes behind the scenes with the team's goalie session, led by goaltending coach Rick Wamsley, featuring GoPro footage from the mask of Chris Driedger.

7:00 PM: Cody Ceci and Mark Stone caught up with Sens TV after today's on-ice session. Take a look...

Here's what Cody Ceci had to say after today's workout...

On today's workout and development camp:

It was a pretty fun day today, those guys are really specific with what they do and they're really good at it. They come out and help us out, they've been here the past few years so we've gotten to know them and it's always good to have a day like this; a fun day to relax and work on some skills.

On how his skills have come along doing similar work in multiple development camps:

You definitely get used to the drills and little things you add to your game every year. You try to take away as much as you can from every camp. It's my third camp so you try to just keep learning and keep improving.

On Friday night's scrimmage:

The scrimmage is always fun. We only play the one so every thing is on the line for that game. It's always a pretty good time and the 3-on-3 tournament gets pretty intense as well. Both of those things are fun but they're good competition as well.

Here's what Mark Stone had to say...

On returning to development camp after last year's injury:

It's nice, it's nice to be healthy for a change. Last year I missed pretty much the whole camp so it's nice to come back to the city, see the new faces and get to know the guys a little bit better.

On his favourite/least favourite drills of the day:

The stuff is difficult but in games there's always situations where you need to pick it up with the backhand and throw it to the forehand so this kind of stuff is difficult and really pushes you to try and improve on your stick skills.

On working with hopes of making the NHL roster:

I'm exciting, I think I put in a pretty good word for myself last year, I thought I played well. I still think I'm going to have to come in and play consistent and prove I can do it in an 82 game season but right now I feel confident and that I've proved a lot to myself and to management that I can play at this level.

On tomorrow's scrimmage:

It's different having a game in the summer but it's always exciting to get into those scrimmages, especially when you're out here competing against each other just in little practices. Once you can finally get into a game it's fun.

4:00 PM: The Sens just wrapped up their on-ice work for the day at Bell Sensplex. Take a look at some of the drills...

12:30 PM: Sens prospects at the rink today received their welcome from team president Cyril Leeder today...

10:45 AM: The prospects are working on their explosiveness in their workout today. Check out Cody Ceci and Andrew Hammond on the box jump...

9:30 AM: Senators prospects are back at it today for day three of Development Camp at Canadian Tire Centre. The morning will include a series of off-ice workouts before the group heads over to the Bell Sensplex in Kanata for their on-ice work.

Earlier this morning the group also received a seminar from nutritionist Molly Morgan. Take a look...

If you didn't catch it yesterday, Sens TV strapped a GoPro camera to Matt Puempel for a portion of yesterday's on-ice training and the footage is pretty stellar. Take a look...
