Clarke MacArthur offered his thoughts on the team's recent play and the road to the finish line after practice on Wednesday.

Here's what he had to say...

On the team repeating mistakes all season:

It's the professionalism I think for one. We come in and I honestly think it just comes down to competing. We're lackadaisical on some plays and one thing leads to the next and then when it rains it pours, that's what's happening. You get some bad breaks, things happen and it's a tough time to be in right now and it's tough to answer the questions because obviously we're looking for them too.

On the team as fragile:

Yeah for sure, you've got to say that. It's a group that, we have a lot to prove in these last 14 games whether we make it or not, that's the way I look at it. There's something called pride and for the people buying tickets to watch these games and just for yourself to go home and be able to sleep at night, we've got to do a better job of emptying the tank. If you empty the tank every night at least you can go home and you can have some respect. We've got a lot of respect to earn back.

On backing up words:

Like I said I wish I had the answers, I'm trying to do it as we go here, but we get in the game, I feel like I know the game plan and what to do and we know we say the right things before the games and then it's the execution part. We've got to be accountable for that.
