OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today announced the 27-player roster for the 2012-13 training camp being held at Scotiabank Place, starting on Sunday, Jan. 13. The Senators training camp roster includes three goaltenders, nine defencemen and 15 forwards.
The list of camp invitees is built primarily around the Senators’ draft. Eighteen (18) players were selected by Ottawa in NHL entry drafts, five were obtained in trades and four were signed as free agents. Twenty (20) players appeared in at least one game with the Senators during the 2011-12 season, while three others did so with other NHL squads.
