News Release: Senators recall forward Stéphane Da Costa from Binghamton (AHL)

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has recalled forward Stéphane Da Costa from its American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Da Costa, 24, began the 2013-14 season with Ottawa and appeared in four of the club’s first seven games. During that span he was held scoreless and registered two penalty minutes. The Paris native has played 39 NHL contests over his career (all with the Senators) recording seven points (four goals, three assists) and 10 penalty minutes.

In 37 AHL games this season, Da Costa has scored 12 goals and added 25 assists for 37 points and a plus-11 rating. Da Costa’s 37 points leave him seventh in league scoring.

The Senators next see action on Tuesday when they visit the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m.
