Senators Development Camp: Day 1
The Ottawa Senators kicked off their annual development camp on Thursday morning at Scotiabank Place. Senators strength and conditioning coach Randy Lee greeted the group at 8:45 a.m., introducing the players to the Senators staff and welcoming them to camp.
The 22-man development camp roster was broken into two groups of 11 players, with one group taking part in fitness testing while the players in the other group were given medicals and fitted with equipment.
After the three-hour session was finished, the team met for lunch before heading to the Bell Sensplex for a three-hour on-ice session.
