Senators season nearing with ice installation

The Senators 15th NHL season started taking shape on Aug. 29 as the ice in Scotiabank Place was installed. A 10-man crew installed the ice, painted the lines, goal creases and logos in preparation for the players’ imminent arrival. The Senators will open their main training camp on Sept. 13 with medicals and physicals while their first day of on-ice practice will be on Saturday, Sept. 15.
