On a brisk November afternoon more suited for wintry thoughts, Ottawa Senators defenceman Wade Redden's mind was on a more summer-like venture.

Roswell Wake-Air, a nine-year-old Edmonton company co-owned by Redden, brought its promotional bus and trailer of products to Scotiabank Place on Wednesday afternoon.

Robert Oswell founded Roswell Wake-Air in 1998 with the innovative redesign of existing pylon technology targeted for the watercraft experience and wakeboarders alike. Innovation, research, technological advancements and quality have been at the forefront of the company's strategic plan.

"Throughout my professional hockey career, I've looked at business opportunities that gave me the same enthusiasm and show the same commitment to the craft that I have while playing for the Senators," said Redden, who has been involved with the company for five years. "Robert (Oswell) and the crew at Roswell Wake-Air are a team dedicated to making each on-the-water experience best for all involved."

With headquarters in Edmonton, Roswell Wake-Air has surged to the international stage with its industry-leading products such as wakeboarding towers, custom OEM products, speakers, lighting and many more custom marine accessories. The company works closely with the industry's top boat builders, international distributors and more than 300 dealers around the world.
