Gerber to face Sabres in Buffalo tonight

After posting a strong 34-save performance, and 3-1 win, against the New York Rangers on Dec. 23, Senators goalkeeper Martin Gerber returns to defend the Senators’ net tonight as they face the Sabres in Buffalo (no local TV, Sports Radio 1200 The Team).

Defenceman Joe Corvo, still suffering for an abdominal strain, remains out of the line-up. Emergency call-up Lawrence Nycholat returns to the club for his second NHL game of the season.

The Senators are back in Hockey Country for a game against the New York Islanders at Scotiabank Place on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 7:30 p.m. (A-Channel, Sports Radio 1200 The Team).
