Senators prepare for key matchup
With two days to get their game back on track following a 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Saturday night, the Senators held a 45-minute practice this morning at the Bell Sensplex.

Several players did not participate, taking care of injuries or resting: Daniel Alfredsson (hip flexor), Cody Bass (ankle), Patrick Eaves (shoulder), Dany Heatley (shoulder) and Mike Fisher (resting).

Listen to today’s post-practice comments from head coach John Paddock (mp3 file), Jason Spezza (mp3 file), Chris Phillips (mp3 file), Ray Emery (mp3 file) and Wade Redden (mp3 file).

The Senators will be back at practice on Monday. They will leave later in the afternoon for Montreal in preparation for their game against the Canadiens on Tuesday night (7:30 p.m., Rogers Sportsnet, Team 1200).
