It\'s Sens vs. Pens again
It'll be a familiar story after all for the Ottawa Senators in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

For the second straight year, the Senators will begin their playoff crusade against the Pittsburgh Penguins. That matcnup was confirmed when the Pens were blanked 2-0 by the Flyers in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. The result dropped the Senators to seventh overall in the East, one point behind the Flyers. The Pens, meanwhile, were denied a chance to overtake the Montreal Canadiens for top spot overall.

The Senators and Penguins met in the opening round of the 2006-07 playoffs, with Ottawa prevailing in five games en route to a berth in the Stanley Cup final. The teams played four times during the current regular season, with the Senators posting a 3-0-1 record against the Atlantic Division champs.

The Stanley Cup playoffs officially begin Wednesday.
