The Ottawa Senators today assigned right-winger Brandon Bochenski to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
The 23-year-old NHL rookie missed Ottawa's last four games with a bruised right shoulder but will return to game action once he re-joins the B-Sens. Binghamton's next game is Friday, Jan. 27, when they visit Albany.
Bochenski also missed 11 games from Dec. 20 to Jan. 10 due to a separated shoulder suffered against Toronto on Dec. 17. The Blaine, Minn., native has played a total of 19 games with Ottawa, recording six goals, seven assists and 14 penalty minutes.
Last season, Bochenski finished fourth in Binghamton team scoring and won the AHL rookie scoring race with 70 points (34 goals, 36 assists). Through 42 games this season, the B-Sens sit fifth in the East Division with their 17-21-2-2 record.
