Bulletin: Senators Rev Up the Red Zone for the playoffs
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators are pleased to announce that starting Friday, April 21, and for all home games during the 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs, the Red Zone, presented by Molson Canadian, will be the gathering place for pre-game revelers at Scotiabank Place. The revved-up version of the pre-game party kicks off three hours before each home game at the Gate 1 plaza and will continue in the tent following the game.
Senators fans entering the Red Zone will be immersed in a festive atmosphere with player banners, Sens flags and a bar that features two large projection screens where they can catch player highlights and the Sens game, along with food and beer.
The patio will showcase a 15-foot inflated, illuminated Stanley Cup alongside the main stage with live entertainment. Hockey Country fans will also have the opportunity to gear up at the Sens merchandising headquarters.
Fans of all ages can take part in the festivities, and kids can enjoy the oversized Sparty slide and the hardest shot game. They can also get their hair and faces painted, or get an official Sens tattoo.
Bob FM and The Team 1200 will set up live broadcast booths, and fans can share their thoughts about their team in the A-Channel Speaker's Corner booth.
A limited number of playoff tickets are still available.
