Senators goaltender Ray Emery believes that with the talent and desire of his team, a comeback from their 3-0 deficit is possible.

The Ottawa Senators need a victory tonight in Buffalo or else their 2005-06 season will come to an end. Down 3-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinal against the Buffalo Sabres, Ottawa's starting goaltender is still confident his team can rebound.

"I said last night that if there's any team that I've played for in the past that has a chance to win four straight, it's this team," Ray Emery said this afternoon. "We've got so much talent and desire to win in the room. Once things start going good, it's just a carry-over effect, and we're definitely capable of winning four in a row."

Looking back at Game 3 last night, Senators head coach Bryan Murray wants a simpler approach from his players when looking for offence in the Buffalo zone.

"We didn't give up many scoring chances but we didn't create any because when we attacked the zone, so often they did a good job getting back and shrinking down on us. We were trying to make plays that are difficult to make at any time of year, in particular the playoffs. Instead of just putting the puck at the net on more occasions with a little bit of traffic, we were looking for something better than that."

Captain Daniel Alfredsson feels more energy during the attack will lead to quality opportunities.

"I think the big thing for us is going to be our forechecking and being able to create more chances 5-on-5. We'll have to be a little more aggressive."

Like his players, Murray refuses to give up.

"There's pressure. But there's pressure on (Buffalo) now to close it out at home. We have to go and play a real good game. We have to play together and support each other and try to find some real positives in all of this. We're a very capable hockey club. We just have to do more than we've done in this series."
