Bulletin: Senators Ticket Holders Asked to Set Sights on 2007 Playoffs and 2007-08 Season

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators Hockey Club announced today details of their 2007 playoff ticket packages, and 2007-08 season-ticket renewal and new sales programs. Senators ticket holders will continue to see the savings over single-game prices of up to 52 per cent, as well as exclusive benefits and early bird renewal and new contests. For the first time in four years, the club has increased prices by 4.5 per cent.

The number of 2006-07 season-ticket holders is at record levels, with more than 75 per cent of the lower-level seats now occupied by subscribers. After 27 home games this season, the Senators have an average attendance of 19,149 with 17 sell-outs at Scotiabank Place. Coach Bryan Murray's team played in front of a record sell-out crowd of 20,214 in its Dec. 29 game against the New York Rangers and have now hit the 20,000-plus mark four times this season (Nov. 13, Dec. 28, Dec. 29 and Jan. 13).

2007 Stanley Cup playoff tickets

The club is providing significant savings for ticket holders when they purchase their playoff seats and renew their seats for the 2007-08 season by March 1, 2007. As well, fans will only need to pay-as-we-play as the Senators advance through the playoffs. Ticket holders also have the opportunity of purchasing additional playoff tickets.

2007-08 Season tickets

By renewing their 2007-08 packages by March 1, the Senators will secure ticket holders' seat locations and continue to provide bonus tickets - only a 10 per cent deposit is required by May 1, 2007. The club has added a number of new and exclusive benefits for next season's ticket holders, who will see prices increase by a modest 4.5 per cent. They include:
· Private season launch party in September 2007.
· Exclusive access to open practices and luncheons.
· Special skating events at Scotiabank Place with an opportunity to meet a Senators player.
· A limited-edition hockey print by Ottawa artist Tony Harris. Ticket holders of fiver years or more will receive their print professionally framed.

Early bird and renewal contests

Ticket-package holders who renew or join as a new season-ticket holder by Feb. 21, 2007, will be entered into an early bird draw for a chance to win one of five all-expense-paid trips for two to Barbados from March 7 to 11, 2007. In Barbados, they will join Senators owner Eugene Melnyk and Bert Inniss for the Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs game on March 8 at Bert's.

All season-ticket holders who purchase or renew by March 1, 2007, will have an opportunity to win one of the following prizes:
· Win their seats free for the 2007-08 season.
· Win one of 10 game-worn player-autographed jerseys.
· Win Senators owner Eugene Melnyk's suite for a game.

Ordering and renewal simplified

The club has simplified the process for ticket holders to both order their 2007 playoff tickets and to renew their packages for the 2007-08 season by following the steps in the My Sens Ticket Account through the Senators website at www.ottawasenators.com.
