The club also announced its promotional lineup, which includes season-long tickets available for just $13.79 a game (plus taxes) in the Coca-Cola Zero Zone and starting at only $25.86 a game (plus taxes) in the GM Power Seats. In addition, promotional nights include Sport Chek Kids Games, McDonald’s® Family Games and many giveaway nights.
Nearly one million people visited Scotiabank Place arena for Senators hockey in 2006-07 as the club sold out 40 of 50 regular-season and playoffs games. The club also set a new single-game attendancerecord when 20,500 fans filled up Scotiabank Place as Ottawa made its first Stanley Cup final appearance.
The Senators ' home-opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 4 will see all fans receiving a red metallic pom-pom and a Sens Army window cling.
The Senators are set to welcome young fans during Sport Chek Kids’ Opening Day on Monday, Oct. 8 (3 p.m. start), when the New Jersey Devils visit Scotiabank Place. Tickets for kids 16 and under are 25 per cent off (excluding the Coca-Cola Zero Zone, standing room and The Ledge Carvery & Bar) for the game on Oct. 8, and also for the Sport Chek Kids Game on Nov. 3 versus Boston. In addition to the discounted purchase, kids will receive a free Sens baseball cap at each Sport Chek Kids Game (maximum 1,000 kids tickets available per game).
The popular McDonald’s Family Games return with five games in the months of October and November. Fans can purchase a ticket starting from just $22.41 (plus taxes) and will also receive a voucher for a free Big Mac and small fries at a participating Ottawa-area McDonald’s. These games take place on Oct. 11 vs. Carolina, Oct. 20 vs. Florida, Nov. 1 vs. Atlanta, Nov. 8 vs. Washington and Nov. 29 vs. Nashville.
The Senators will also be introducing Wear Red Nights for all home games this season against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ottawa will first host Toronto in its season home-opener on Oct. 4 and also face its divisional rival three more times at home on Nov. 6, Feb. 25 and March 22. Fans are encouraged to wear red for each of these games as they will receive 25 per cent off the purchase of Sens Army merchandise at Sensations and the kiosks at Scotiabank Place.
Other special nights at Senators games in October and November include: Magnetic Schedule Night on Oct. 18 vs. Montreal and a food drive on Nov. 24, when Ottawa hosts Philadelphia.
