Bulletin: Senators Re-assign Hennessy to Binghamton

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today assigned centre Josh Hennessy to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

The 22-year-old had no points in three games during his second recall of the season with Ottawa. In five games with the Senators this season, Hennessy has been held scoreless and averaged 3:45 of ice time per game.

In 45 games with the B-Sens this season, Hennessy had 11 goals and 23 assists, tying defenceman Lawrence Nycholat for the team lead with 34 points.

Binghamton is in fifth place in the AHL’s East Division with 52 points from 22 wins, 18 losses, four overtime losses and four shootout losses. The club’s next game is tonight, when it hosts the Philadelphia Phantoms.
