Bulletin: Collectibles, Stanley Cup featured at 2008 NHL Entry Draft event
Autograph sessions also part of Trading Card and Memorabilia Show
The National Hockey League and Upper Deck have teamed to offer hockey fans in Ottawa the chance to view the most cherished prize in team sports, the Stanley Cup, and meet Ottawa Senators left wing Nick Foligno at a two-day trading card and memorabilia show at Scotiabank Place, Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. The show will be part of the events at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
The 2008 NHL Entry Draft Trading Card and Memorabilia Show, presented by Upper Deck, also will feature a host of attractions for fans including unique collectibles from various hobby stores and a wrapper redemption program provided by Upper Deck. Fans who purchase and open five packs of any Upper Deck 2007-08 NHL hockey trading card product (except Victory) will receive a 2008 NHL Draft exclusive six-card set while supplies last.
Foligno will sign autographs from 11 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, June 21. The first 200 people in line will receive VIP wristbands and are guaranteed to get an oversized card personally autographed by Foligno. No personal items will be accepted.
The 2008 NHL Entry Draft will take place at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. The first round will take place on Friday, June 20 starting at 7 p.m., ET (VERSUS, TSN, RDS, NHL Radio, NHL.com audio stream). Rounds two through seven will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21 (NHL Network, NHL.com video stream).
