Bulletin: Senators and Rogers Sportsnet announce broadcast schedule
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators and Sportsnet announced today the 40-game broadcast schedule for Rogers Sportsnet East, beginning on Friday, Oct. 17, when National Hockey League legend Wayne Gretzky brings his Phoenix Coyotes to Scotiabank Place.

“Once again, we’re very pleased with the lineup of games Sportsnet will be bringing to our fans throughout eastern Canada and our expanded Ontario footprint,” said Roy Mlakar, Ottawa Senators president and CEO. “Coming into the 10th season of our relationship, we are looking forward to an even stronger program with 40 games on Sportsnet East.”

Senators fans will see on Sportsnet East 10 match-ups against all other five Canadian teams and 11 meetings against divisional rivals.

The 40 games on Rogers Sportsnet East brings the Senators broadcast schedule to 64 games. The national schedules from CBC, TSN, RDS and RIS were announced earlier. CBC has yet to announce its regional Hockey Night in Canada games. Of the 18 games presently off the broadcast schedule, 13 are on Saturdays, two Wednesdays and one Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
