Bulletin: Senators recall Elliott from Binghamton
In five games with the B-Sens this season, Elliott has posted a 3-1-1 record with a 2.10 goals-against-average and a .924 save percentage. He last saw action on Friday, Oct. 24, making 25 saves in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Syracuse Crunch.
Elliott has made one career National Hockey League regular season appearance, stopping 28 of 29 shots while collecting the victory in a 3-1 Ottawa win over the Atlanta Thrashers on Oct. 10, 2007.
The 2008-09 campaign is the second full professional season for the 23-year-old Elliott, who enjoyed a decorated National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) goaltending career at the University of Wisconsin. Elliott, Ottawa's ninth round choice (291st overall) in 2003 NHL draft, had played in 86 games over his four-year college career (85 starts), recording a 51-27-6 record, a 1.78 goals-against average and .931 save percentage.
