OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 3,000 tickets remain for Tuesday’s 7:30 p.m. home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Place.

The Senators lead the six-game regular-season series with the Maple Leafs by one win following their 2-1 victory at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Oct. 6. Tuesday’s game marks Toronto’s first of three visits to the nation’s capital this season. The Maple Leafs do not return to Scotiabank Place until March 6, 2010. Toronto is led in scoring by defenceman Tomas Kaberle, who ranks second (tie) among all NHL players with 19 assists.

Tickets remaining for upcoming games:

Thursday, Nov. 19, vs. Pittsburgh: Fewer than 3,000 tickets remain. The defending Stanley Cup-champion Pittsburgh Penguins make their second and final regular-season visit to Ottawa. Three-time NHL All-Star Sidney Crosby ranks first among all Penguins in scoring with 20 points through 20 games this season.

Saturday, Nov. 21, vs. Buffalo: Fewer than 4,000 tickets remain. The Northeast Division-leading Buffalo Sabres make their first of three 2009-10 visits to Scotiabank Place. A candidate for the U.S. men’s Olympic team, goaltender Ryan Miller leads the NHL with 12 victories and ranks second among all netminders with two shutouts this season.

Saturday’s game against the Sabres will serve as the Senators’ annual Food Drive game. Non-perishable food items, with a priority on canned fish, meat, fruits and vegetables, will be collected at the entrances of Scotiabank Place to support the Ottawa Food Bank and the Kanata Food Cupboard. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Tickets for all November, December and January home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
