Sens Foundation adds Sunday Brunch Opportunity for Fans to Attend
Sens Skills sees the players demonstrating their hockey skills in the following categories:
- Puck control relay - observe players illustrating versatility in stickhandling
- Bridgestone fastest skater - see players showcasing their speed on skates
- Hardest shot - witness the power of an NHL slap shot
- Danone accuracy shooting - find out who shoots with the most precision
- Juniper Networks power-play challenge - watch as players execute the 3-on-1 to perfection
- Bell Breakaway Shootout - who has the moves to be crowned king of the shootout
On behalf of Metro, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association, the Senators will donate this year’s net proceeds to the Sens Foundation and the NHLPA's Goals & Dreams Fund.
Participating alongside the Senators will be 12 minor hockey skaters and two goaltenders from the National Capital Region. The 14 finalists will be chosen through the Skills First Challenge presented by Bell finals hosted earlier in the day.
All 100-, 200- and 300-level tickets for Sens Skills presented by Metro are $15, $12 and $8 respectively (advance sales). Sens Skills Sunday Brunch presented by BELL
To complement the afternoon festivities, the Sens Foundation joins Bell to offer fans the chance to purchase a seat at the Sens Skills Sunday Brunch for only $175 (including taxes). Fans taking advantage of this unique opportunity will meet two members of the Senators, have brunch prior to the skills competition, receive a seat “at the glass” for Sens Skills presented by Metro in addition to a $50 tax receipt. Over the past two years, more than 35,000 fans have attended Sens Skills presented by Metro with the Senators and NHLPA donating more than $250,000 to local charities on behalf of their partners.
