Bulletin: Senators recall forward Zack Smith from Binghamton (AHL)
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Zack Smith from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Smith, 21, has recorded 14 goals, 24 assists and 96 penalty minutes in 64 games with Binghamton this season. In 10 career NHL games (including nine this season), the native of Maple Creek, Sask., has recorded two goals while adding nine penalty minutes.

A co-winner of the B-Sens’ 2008-09 rookie-of-the-year award, Smith was Ottawa’s third-round selection (79th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The B-Sens (fifth, East Division, 30-32-5-3, 68 points) next see action this afternoon when they visit the Albany River Rats at 3 p.m.
