OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today released the schedule and list of 31 players attending the annual development camp from June 29 to July 5 at Scotiabank Place and the Bell Sensplex. The club invited three goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 18 forwards.
Each of the club’s four selections from the 2010 NHL Entry Draft held Friday and Saturday in Los Angeles will attend, as will the Senators’ most recent first-round pick, Jared Cowen. This year’s camp will mark the first full camp for Cowen, who was recovering from injury last summer but did participate in several drills.

“This camp will expose players to the team’s training program, while providing staff with the opportunity to evaluate prospects and prepare a variety of specific off-season training programs,” Lee said. “In addition to the important aspect of physical training, the group will also work on sports biochemistry and nutrition, sleep as it relates to athletic performance, mental skills as well as team-building activities.”
