Four home games, Thanksgiving matinee in Pittsburgh lie ahead for team

OTTAWA — The Senators were back on the ice this morning at Scotiabank Place for a 50-minute practice in preparation for a two-game homestand.
Over the next eight days (schedule), the Senators will play four home games and a 1 p.m. matinee affair in Pittsburgh. Ottawa plays host to the Los Angeles Kings on Monday (7:30 p.m., Rogers Sportsnet East, Team 1200). The Dallas Stars then visit Scotiabank Place on Wednesday (7:30 p.m., TSN2, Team 1200), before the Senators travel to Pittsburgh for a American Thanksgiving holiday matchup on Friday (1 p.m., Sportsnet East, Team 1200).
The Senators then return home for meetings against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday (7 p.m., CBC, Team 1200) and the Edmonton Oilers next Monday (7:30 p.m., Sportsnet East, Team 1200).
Head coach Cory Clouston ran his team through drills for 50 minutes today, paying particular attention to special teams and changing up his lines. Captain Daniel Alfredsson and defenceman Erik Karlsson didn't skate today. Alfredsson took a maintenance day, while Karlsson is suffering from a cold/flu.
