OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled goaltender Robin Lehner and forward Bobby Butler from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Lehner, 19, recalled for a fifth time this season, made 26 saves in the B-Sens’ 4-3 overtime win yesterday over the Adirondack Phantoms in Glens Falls, N.Y. In his last recall from Jan. 31 to Feb. 13, he played in four of six games, starting in three. In seven National Hockey League games this season, Lehner has a win and three losses and has posted a 3.40 goals-against average. He has a record of 7-6-2 with a 2.67 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in 17 games with the B-Sens this season.

Butler, 24, played in Binghamton’s win on Sunday, but was kept off the scoresheet. He earned his first NHL goal and points in Ottawa’s 5-3 win over the Oilers in Edmonton on Saturday. He opened the scoring with a goal, then added an assist on Ottawa’s third goal by Milan Michalek. In 10 NHL games in 2010-11, over the course of four call-ups, Butler has a goal, an assist and two penalty minutes. He has also scored 22 goals while recording 11 assists and 35 penalty minutes in 47 games with Binghamton this season.

The B-Sens are in fifth place in the AHL’s East Division with a 28-20-3-3 record and 62 points. Binghamton’s next game is Friday, Feb. 18, when it hosts its division rivals, the Charlotte Checkers.
