OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, March 11, to Thursday, March 17.

Sens Gameday Experience presented by Esso

Date: Tuesday, March 15
Location: Scotiabank Place
Time: 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Minor hockey teams and members of the public from across the Ottawa-Gatineau region can visit Scotiabank Place to watch the Senators’ pre-game skate in advance of their home game against Pittsburgh that evening. The Senators coaching staff will also be on the ice to put the players through their paces prior to their final regular-season matchup against the Penguins.

General admission and parking is free with non-perishable food donations being accepted on site by the Ottawa Food Bank. Volunteers will also be on hand to collect gently used hockey equipment. The Senators, along with Canadian Tire, Canadian Tire Jumpstart, the Sens Foundation and the Ottawa District Hockey Association, have recently joined forces to make hockey more accessible to disadvantaged youth across the region through the Equipment for Kids program. Equipment donated on Saturday will be directed to this program. The first 500 kids in attendance will also receive a free Ottawa Senators poster courtesy of Esso.

This will be the final Sens Gameday Experience of the season.
