OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned forward Roman Wick to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, and recalled goaltender Mike Brodeur. Brodeur replaces Curtis McElhinney, who is unavailable for tonight’s game due to personal reasons.

The native of Kloten, Switzerland, has 16 goals, 17 assists and 20 penalty minutes in 61 games with Binghamton.

Brodeur, 27, has made four National Hockey League appearances this season, posting a 4.33 goals-against-average and .833 save percentage. The Calgary native has played in eight games with Binghamton this season, posting a 2-5-0 record with a 3.25 goals-against-average and .889 save percentage. In four games with the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals, he has a 3-1-0 record, with a 2.59 goals-against-average and .912 save percentage.

The B-Sens, in fifth place in the AHL’s East Division with a 37-27-3-4 record and 81 points, next see action tonight when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m.
