OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today launched the official Ottawa Senators app, powered by Bell. The applications, are now available as free downloads via www.ottawasenators.com/sensapp for iPhone and Blackberry mobile devices and will provide fans with instant access to fresh team-related content for Senators. The Senators app for Android is expected to be available within the next two weeks.

“Our fans have told us they want better access to more real-time Senators content through the aid of their mobile devices,” said Jeff Kyle, Senators vice-president of marketing. “Senators fans are sure to enjoy the ability to stay connected with their favourite team whenever they’re on the move”.

The Sens app will allow fans to track all that’s new with the team through Sens TV video, live game summaries, team news, Facebook and Twitter updates, player profiles and behind-the-scenes photos. The app will feature an interactive map of Scotiabank Place for review of seating locations prior to purchase. In addition, the map provides a quick reference for Scotiabank Place restaurant locations, Sens Stores and concessions on each concourse for use during visits to the arena.
