Bulletin: Senators recall Nikita Filatov from Binghamton (AHL)

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Nikita Filatov from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Filatov, 21, began the season in Ottawa and recorded one assist and two penalty minutes in two regular-season games this season with the Senators. In 46 career National Hockey League games, he has recorded six goals and eight assists for 14 points.

Assigned to Binghamton on Oct. 13, Filatov has skated in eight games with the B-Sens this season, registering four goals and one assist for five points.

The Moscow native was acquired by the Senators from the Columbus Blue Jackets on June 25 in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
