Bulletin: Senators recall Daugavins, reassign Lehner to Binghamton (AHL)
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Kaspars Daugavins from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Goaltender Robin Lehner was also reassigned to the B-Sens.
Daugavins was recalled on Oct. 24 and registered his first National Hockey League goal in Ottawa’s 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 30. In four games with the Senators, he has one point and four penalty minutes. In seven games with Binghamton this season, he has recorded four goals and two assists for six points.
Lehner has posted a record of 4-2-0 through six games with the B-Sens this season. He was recalled to Ottawa on Oct. 29 and made one appearance, collecting the win in Sunday’s 3-2 victory against Toronto.
Ottawa next sees action tonight when they take on the Montreal Canadiens at 7:30 p.m. at Scotiabank Place. The B-Sens host the Rochester Americans tonight at 7:05 p.m.
