OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s community schedule from Friday, Dec. 2, to Thursday, Dec. 8.

Sens Big Save Blood Donor Clinic

Senators president Cyril Leeder will be donating blood at 10 a.m. during the team’s annual blood donor clinic on Thursday, Dec. 8, when Canadian Blood Services will have its Bloodmobile parked at Scotiabank Place’s Gate 1 entrance. The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Appointment times remain available. The Senators are encouraging fans to donate blood in an effort to help save lives throughout Eastern Ontario during this holiday season.

Help build Toy Mountain

The Senators are reminding fans they can donate a new or gently used toy for Majic 100 and CTV’s Toy Mountain prior to Monday night’s home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. For more information, please click on the link below.

Team Phillips Toque Sales

Tremblant 24h of Skiing ambassador Erin Phillips and other members of her team will be selling event toques in support of the Sens Foundation at sections 106, 116 and 201 through the end of the first intermission during Monday’s game against Tampa Bay. The Tremblant fundraiser is the largest event of its kind, contributing nearly $1.3 million to the Sens Foundation over the past five years.

Christmas Cheer Breakfast

The Christmas Cheer Breakfast, Ottawa's largest networking breakfast event, takes place at The Westin Ottawa on Thursday, Dec. 8. Sens Foundation president Danielle Robinson will be serving breakfast from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and will later make a guest appearance during CFRA’s Christmas Cheer broadcast , which runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Proceeds from ticket sales, pledges and donations will be distributed to the Sens Foundation and other local charities to support their Christmas giving campaigns.
