OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 6,500 total tickets remain for Ottawa’s next seven home dates, running from tomorrow night’s contest against the Florida Panthers to its game on Monday, Jan. 16, against the Winnipeg Jets.

“Our fans have embraced the exciting style of play of this year’s team and and have shown their support by filling the stands at Scotiabank Place,” said Senators president Cyril Leeder. “The response from the Senators’ fan base during the anniversary season has been terrific and we look forward to the added game experience the Bell HD Screen will bring, starting Dec. 27.”

Through the first 17 home dates of the 20th anniversary season, the Senators have sold out Scotiabank Place on eight occasions and have averaged 18,913 fans per game. This represents a seven per cent increase in attendance and four more sellouts when compared to the first 17 dates of 2010-11.

Limited tickets are available for each of Ottawa’s next seven games.  Four of those games have seats in the most affordable section, the Coca-Cola Zero Zone, with prices starting at $15.

Tickets for all Senators home games can be purchased by visiting www.Capitaltickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
