OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators’ year-long commitment to community outreach programs and business throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club’s upcoming community schedule, along with an update on team business news.

Community Events and appearances

Senators prospect Mark Borowiecki will be appearing at the Ottawa Senators Hockey Camps at the Bell Sensplex on Wednesday, July 11, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. More than 1,200 campers will attend these programs at the Bell Sensplex this year, with each participant receiving a Senators practice jersey and water bottle. Special appearances by players, prospects or alumni of the Ottawa Senators will be featured each week. Visit www.bellsensplex.ca for more information on Senators summer hockey camps.

On Saturday, July 14, Spartacat, the Senators’ ambassador of fun, will visit the Accora Village Fun Days at Bayshore Park from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Senators organization will support more than 60 golf tournaments during the course of the year and will be represented at the following events in the coming weeks: Kunstadt Sports tournament at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on July 16; Mattamy Homes tournament at GreyHawk Golf Club on July 17; Nielcorp annual charity tournament on July 21, and the Crazy Horse Classic at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on July 23.
