OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that individual tickets for the Senators’ 2012-13 pre-season games, home-opener and three- and six-game packs will go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m.

The Senators' 2012-13 pre-season, presented by Canadian Tire and Jumpstart, is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Sept. 25, when Ottawa hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Place. The Senators will then host the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, Sept. 27, and the New York Islanders on Sunday, Sept. 30, to wrap up their home pre-season schedule. Tickets to all three pre-season games will be available at half price for children 16 years old or younger. The Senators are slated to host the Washington Capitals to open the home portion of their 2012-13 schedule on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The three- and six-game packs for the 2012-13 regular season allow fans to choose their favourite matchups from the full home schedule, while saving as much as 21 per cent over individual single-game ticket prices. Prices for three-game packs start as low $135 (some restrictions may apply).

Tickets to pre-season games, the home-opener and game packs can be purchased online at capitaltickets.ca or by calling 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267). Tickets will not be available for purchase at the Senators box office at Scotiabank Place or any other approved ticket outlets.

Individual single-game tickets for the first half of the regular season will go on sale Saturday, Sept 22, while tickets for the second half of the regular season will go on sale Friday, Nov. 16.
