OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Mika Zibanejad from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

In 23 games with the B-Sens this season, Zibanejad has recorded four goals, seven assists and 10 penalty minutes.

Zibanejad, 19, was Ottawa’s first selection in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft. In nine games with the Senators last season, he recorded one assist and two penalty minutes.

The Senators next see action tomorrow when they host the Washington Capitals at Scotiabank Place. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for Tuesday’s game, where children 14 years of age and under will receive a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket and pop will be $1.
