News Release: Senators playoff tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m.

OTTAWA - With their victory tonight over the Washington Capitals, the Ottawa Senators have secured an Eastern Conference berth in the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs. Post-season tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m.

Tickets will be available at www.capitaltickets.ca, 613-599-FANS (3267), 1-877-788-FANS (3267); The Sens Store locations at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, Ottawa Festivals and the Scotiabank Place box office.

Thursday’s victory ensures that the Senators will return to the NHL’s post-season for the 14th time in the past 16 seasons. The NHL will confirm the team’s opponent and unveil the playoff schedule when all playoff seeds have been established.

Senators’ 2013-14 season-seat packages are on sale now and purchasers receive priority access to 2013 Stanley Cup Playoff tickets in advance of the public on sale. Season-seat owners save up to 40 per cent on playoff ticket prices for round one and up to 25 per cent for all other rounds.

With the Senators 12-month payment plan, half-season packages are available for as little as $28.81 per seat, per month, and 100-level pricing starts as low as $130 per seat, per month. For information on season-seats, please call the Senators’ offices at 613-599-0300.

Ottawa’s final regular season home game will take place on Saturday, April 27, at 7 p.m., when the team hosts the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Place. The 2012-13 regular season will come to a close on Sunday, April 28, when the Senators visit Boston.
