OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) today recalled forward Derek Grant from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Grant, 23, has recorded two goals (one shorthanded) and five penalty minutes in three games with the B-Sens this season. The 6-3, 206-pound native of Abbotsford, B.C., was held pointless in five National Hockey League games last season. He scored 19 goals (including a league-leading five shorthanded markers) and 28 points in 63 AHL regular-season games in 2012-13.

Ottawa returns to action when the club welcomes the Edmonton Oilers to Canadian Tire Centre for the only time this season tomorrow at 2 p.m.
