Lehner named NHL\'s First Star of the Week
Robin Lehner, Frederik Andersen and Patrick Sharp named NHL \'Three Stars\' of the week.

NEW YORK – Ottawa Senators goaltender Robin Lehner, Anaheim Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersen and Chicago Blackhawks left wing Patrick Sharp have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending Nov. 10.

FIRST STAR – ROBIN LEHNER, G, OTTAWA SENATORS

Lehner posted a 3-0-0 record with a 1.33 goals-against average and .958 save percentage, stopping 91 of 95 shots to help the Senators win all three of their games and extend their season-long point streak to five contests (3-0-2). He made 32 saves in a 4-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets Nov. 5, 33 stops in a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens Nov. 7 and 26 saves in a 3-2 triumph over the Florida Panthers Nov. 9. With the trio of victories, Lehner tied the longest winning streak of his four-season NHL career (Oct. 30, 2011-Feb. 28, 2012). The 22-year-old native of Gothenburg, Sweden, has allowed two or fewer goals in six of his eight appearances this season, compiling a 3-2-2 record with a 2.13 goals-against average and .945 save percentage.
