News Release: Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek returns to Canadian Tire Centre
More than $450,000 has been raised at Sens Skills by the Senators and their partners
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today the return of the fan-friendly Sens Skills competition, presented by Sport Chek, which is set to take place at Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday, March 12, at 7 p.m.
Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek will see the Senators split into two squads to compete head-to-head in various skill events including the fastest skater and hardest shot. Senators’ alternate captains, Chris Neil and Chris Phillips, are teaming-up to take on a squad led by Senators captain Jason Spezza.
On behalf of Sport Chek, the Senators will donate this year’s net proceeds to the Ottawa Senators Foundation in support of the Sens RINC project.
Participating alongside the Senators will be 10 minor hockey skaters and two goaltenders from the National Capital Region. The 12 competitors will be chosen through the Senators Junior Skills Challenge presented by Canadian Tire.
Tickets for Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek are $20, $17.50, $15 and $12.50 and go on sale on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m. For group ticket information (groups of nine or more), please call 613-599-0210 or e-mail email@example.com. The Ottawa Senators have hosted more than 75,000 fans over the past five Sens Skills events. To date, more than $450,000 has been donated to local charities on behalf of the Senators and their partners.
