News Release: Senators launch 2014-15 season seat campaign, #Sens10
false

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators), today unveiled the club’s 2014-15 season seat campaign, #Sens10. The #Sens10 campaign is an incentive-based program offering fans10 per cent off and a chance to win one of 10 fantastic prizes for accounts renewed and new sales completed within or before the 10 days of renewals period, which has a deadline of Feb. 7.

The #Sens10 campaign is comprised of three specific elements:

- 10 per cent loyalty savings (or 10 per cent in Sens Bucks),

- 10 great prizes which include three trips to the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic in Vancouver on March 2, and

- 10-day renewal period (Jan. 29 to Feb. 7).

“A key part of building a strong team on the ice is having a strong season-seat base,” said Senators president Cyril Leeder. “Some of our recent success, both on the ice and with upgrades throughout Canadian Tire Centre, is directly attributed to the support and loyalty of our fans. We continue to offer the best pricing, the best benefits and the best value of any NHL team in Canada and that is our way of recognizing and thanking our fans for their continued support and unwavering loyalty.”

Renewing season seat owners will be invited to attend a special “select your seat” event where they can choose their seat location for next season and will also receive entry to an exclusive season-seat owner viewing party at Canadian Tire Centre of the Heritage Classic game on March 2. In addition to saving an average of 39 per cent on regular-season single game tickets and a benefits package that ranks first in value among Canadian NHL teams, season-seat owners also receive priority access to playoff tickets, post-season savings and parking discounts.

Off the ice, the entertainment experience at Canadian Tire Centre is continually improving. Over the past two years, Senators Sports & Entertainment has invested more than $15 million in the venue, including the installation of the Bell HD Videoboard, restaurant upgrades and the recent unveiling of Canadian Tire Centre Vision, which will see 700 new HD screens integrated throughout the building.

The Senators completed a four-game road trip having earned seven of a possible eight points after defeating the Wild 3-0 on Tuesday in Minnesota to climb to within one point of the Eastern Conference’s final playoff seed. With current stars such as Craig Anderson, Erik Karlsson, Bobby Ryan and team captain Jason Spezza, along with emerging talents in Jared Cowen, Robin Lehner, Kyle Turris and Mika Zibanejad (all of whom are under contract next season) the Senators boast one of the youngest lineups in the National Hockey League. The team’s young core also includes first-round draft picks Cody Ceci and recent Team Canada representative Curtis Lazar.
